What are the best ways to store your favourite CBD Products?
A question we get asked all the time is whether there is a best way to store your chosen CBD products at home? So without further ado, here are the best ways for you to store your CBD & Hemp Products.
Best way of Storing CBD Oils
With a bottle of CBD oil lasting the average consumer anywhere from 2-8 weeks, it’s important to ensure that your CBD oil is properly stored. And with CBD oils being easily the most popular way to consume CBD, you’ll be pleased to know that storing your favourite bottle of CBD oil is easy peasy.
Now, the first thing you’ll want to do is buy some liquid nitrogen and then… Just joking, sorry we couldn’t help ourselves. There’s no need to refrigerate your CBD at all and really, there’s only a few things you need to ensure that so your CBD is in perfect condition each and every time you reach for your bottle of CBD oil.
Firstly, ensure that your lid is on properly after each use, otherwise some CBD oil could evaporate in the time in between your next use. Secondly, simply make sure that you keep your CBD oil out of direct sunlight and heat. And thirdly, shake your bottle of CBD before each use, to ensure that the cannabinoids are evenly dispersed amongst the oil.
Best way of Storing CBD Edibles and Topicals
CBD edibles and topicals are equally easy to store. For all intensive purposes, you should store the CBD edible or topical products just as you would for the product if it did not contain CBD.
Whether that’s a cupboard, bedside table or tucked away in a draw, the only important thing to consider is that it should again, be stored away from direct heat or sunlight. Ideally this would be below 25°C, which shouldn’t be a problem if you’re from the U.K anyway!
This simply makes sure that the active ingredients, such as the cannabinoids, don’t get damaged and that, in the case of CD edibles, they can maintain their regular sell-by date.
